There were very high expectations for the sequel to what many would
refer to as ‘the’ comedy of 2009.
_The Hangover 2_ must have done something right, as it is now the
biggest R-rated comedy ever.
It opened three weeks ago in America, and has since experienced
storming success at the worldwide box office.
_The Hangover_ reached $467.5 million worldwide at the box office;
only 3 weeks in and its follow-up has reached $488.7 million
worldwide.
Interestingly _The_ _Hangover: Part II_ has taken more money
internationally than it has domestically; impressive for any American
film, especially a comedy.
