Distribs go dutch in Benelux

BRUSSELS -- Independent distributor Dutch Film Works has inked a deal splitting Benelux rights with Kinepolis Film Distribution, part of the Kinepolis multiplex business. From Oct. 1, Dutch Film Works will handle films in the Netherlands while KFD will bring them out in Belgium and Luxembourg. Deal replaces a previous alliance that saw Dutch Film Works titles brought out in all three territories by Benelux Film Distributors. First titles covered include Paul W.S. Anderson's "The Three Musketeers," Jonathan Levine's "50/50" and Madonna's "W.E." Move further strengthens KFD's mainstream offer following a 2010 tie-up with Dutch distribbery A-Film.
